Time with family

We spent the last couple of weekends with my sister and her family, who are spending most of July in the US. Over 4th of July weekend Mike, Koda, and I drove up to Seattle and we all stayed together at my parents' house. We enjoyed a trip to the Seattle zoo, a 4th of July picnic at my cousin's place on Birch Bay with extended family on my mom's side, swimming/relaxing at Lake Washington with family from my dad's side, and a short visit to the Locks. The following weekend Kristi, John and kids drove down to Corvallis to spend the weekend with us. The weather didn't cooperate quite the way we had hoped (it was cool all weekend and poured Sunday afternoon), but we were still able to visit the farmer's market, explore a number of playgrounds, and take nightly drives around town trying to get Beth to fall asleep. We had a great visit and wish that it wouldn't be so long before we see them all again.
